Right now...

1. Luis Suárez

2. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

3. Robert Lewandowski

I wanted to put Antoine Griezmann there although he's had a strange season so far. But his goal the other day away to Athletic Bilbao (what a goal!!!!) will surely have him performing again to his level. For me he along with Luis Suárez are the most talented strikers on the ball.

Falcao

Yeah, Dost is doing well but anything (and I mean human and otherwise) doing well in Ligue 1 means nothing to me mate.

I was favouring Costa, but put Aguero in because he's seriously good when he hits his stride. Just not had that this year.

I was referring to Happy Blue mate, but just trying to wind him up a bit more than anything :lols:.

When Aguero is at his best, I prefer him over Higuain myself(not for Argentina, but definitely club level), although both are different. I'd take Higuain for goals but Aguero for his allround play.

What about Ronaldo anyway? He's been pretty much been a "number 9" for years now.

What will separate the names put out there right now will be their performances in Europe.  That's the ultimate part that separates the best from the best and I'm not talking about when they face the Malmö's of this world.

Would you put Diego Costa in a top 5?

Aguero blows EVERY other striker away goals to minutes proving he is infact, the best striker in the world  ...717 less minutes than Aubameyang and Aguero has scored 8 more goals in a harder league

What good is a striker that doesn't have the best goals to minutes record in Europe? :what: :ninja:

How does he stack up in terms of minutes to red cards?

3. Aguero

Aguero this season hasn't been at his best but that's mainly because Guardiola can't get Man City to function properly.

He's a striker now in my eyes. A mere goal scorer and nothing more.

I meant more in terms that you rate him as the best?

Aguero gets injured every season. If he compleated a whole season i doubt he would get as many goals as the top strikers

No better goal scoring striker. His talent decreased, but his instincts in front of goal have increased immensely in the process

He's more a poacher if anything, his overall play is awful these days and that negatively effects his team as well. It really does baffle me how there's people that do rate him as the best in the world, I guess that's marketing though and people seeing some stats now and again.

Because Jogi is a false-nine fanboy who doesn't believe in cultivating the breed of traditional German striker that allowed us to dominate for decades, or else a German would be at the top of this list.

We're talking about the top three strikers in world football and not the Bundesliga. Suárez doesn't play for a German side.

I am talking about world football - if the DFB would properly develop strikers, Germans would dominate the global landscape as they always have.
