Messi has had enough of Barcelona and the final straw was when Guardiola announced he is not going to renew his contract at the end of the season. According to close sources, he is keen on fulfilling a personal ambition of his, in doing what Maradona did at Napoli, Messi joining Swansea is a real possibility. The Swans have enjoyed an excellent season in the Premier League and it will be brilliant coup, Messi has already been discussing the deal with close friend, "Kun' Aguerro, who has been urging him to join Manchester City.

It's true that Messi leaves Barcelona in the end of the season. He stated he wants to try his luck with Real Madrid.

There's only a few clubs that could afford him and Real are one of them Man city and that Russian team are the others Maybe PSG not to sure how much money they have. It would be great to see Messi go to a club like Napoli though and win leagues on his own and prove the doubters wrong If he joined any club in the top 6 I would fancy that club to win the league

Exactly, thoroughly pointless 'tradition'. Remind me of the point of April Fool's Day again?

To be an absolute pansy for a few minutes in a pointless tradition, hardly criminal. Live a little, don't take yourself so seriously, you might like it :P .

Mourinho's the bandwagon manager of choice for the insane. He is worth nothing but contempt.Barca and Messi deserve nothing but praise but, unfortunately, people go overboard and make me not want to watch any game either are involved in due to the commentators wankfest which is embarrassing

He should leave to prove he is the best in the world instead of hiding for the fact he plays for Barcelona. Ronaldo has destroyed the English league and Spanish, so he is more respected in my opinion.

Ronaldo had two great seasons in England. His other four years were average at best and that's being very generous

I don't remember it like that. He was an arrogant twat, I think he was a good servant, always focused on leaving. He was definitely more driven to driving United to success than Rooney ever was. No real doubt about this.

Ronaldo was driven to driving himself to success. In his first three seasons he was all style over substance - the pointless stepovers, the diving around, the lack of any real impact in big games etc. Then he performed significantly better than he had but annoyed me even more by being a greedy, selfish twat

My personal feelings about the manner of his departure don't cloud how significant his contribution was to United before he left, United are always bigger than any individual, but he was a good servant in his time.

I have no bitterness about his departure. I never liked Ronaldo from day one

I hear he's agreed a deal with Leicester City, saying that the contract offered was too good to turn down! The deal is a part exchange with Steve Howard going in the opposite direction and £50m coming to Leicester! I'd say Barca have the better deal here!
