Ew, a 250 cruiser. You should be getting an 850 at least for a cruiser.

But it does't matter what you ride, its that you ride.

Was nearly tempted to buy one of these babies

gv250-red-black.jpg

But I wanted a road bike, not a cruiser. Buy the bike if its at a good price. Filling up your tank at the petrol station with a motorbike is a wonderful experience.

I don't trust my abilities enough to drive a 850cc monster, haha. Also, too heavy for me, in most cases. I like cruiser-style myself, but my experience is mostly limited to off-road, enduro bikes specifically. I don't even have a license, haha. This rebel is small, light, and beginner-friendly, so that's why I'm very tempted.

And I know the feeling regarding filling up the tank, rented a bike to get around during my recent holiday. The only difference is that they still have petrol station attendants filling it up for you, didn't even have to step down from the bike, just pay $5, and off you go

Just came home from the Filmforum Duisburg and was able to watch a terrific documentary about our team that sensationally earned the second place in the first bundesliga season 1964.

It was a private work from 3 fans who worked more than one year on it and they really achieved something special. you feel transfered to the football in the ruhr area during that time and it's crazy how at that time 8-9 players of the starting team were born and raised in Duisburg-Meiderich

Sounds great :) The Ruhr-Area is a great place for football and it's history. Hopefully they'll show it on WDR one day.

In the offtopic thread mostly. Some knobs complained about Harvey's changes (market, chat etc.) even though he put hours of work into it etc.

In Düsseldorf the weather is amazing. I'm already as brown as a spaniard! :D

Nothing in particular, they just thought I do not show enough respect for the people above me in the company hierarchy, question authority (duh), identify myself with my fellow colleagues more than I do with those in higher positions, and do not care enough about getting promoted in the first place. All of it is quite true, to be honest. In the end, they denied my promotion, but gave me a raise  How very logical.

Funny thing with Heineken - I can only drink it on long-term flights. Maybe the pressure changes its taste for the better  Or it just numbs my tast buds :ninja: They should totally advertise it like that though!

Can I suggest that all games this weekend have a moment of silence for young Dylan from West Ham - died last night after losing his battle with testicular cancer - AT THE AGE OF 20.  The BL should show they care and remind all their young fans this is not an old man's problem.

Certainly is an issue that needs awareness, but without sounding harsh, isn't a lead example or suggestion from West Ham and or Premier League more appropiate?

I support your idea, but I'm not sure a league from a different nation would lead the way in raising awareness?

I have taught this in both England  and Germany - including discussing it at the Schalke School at Bergerfeld - the approach of some of the teenagers is the same - it's not something they ever think will affect them as kids!  To have it happen to a fit young 20 year old Professional Footballer is a harsh example and one which just might make them think again!  Just a thought!

It was only after a bit of searching, after your post, that I now realise it was a player, rather than a fan. I still support my initial thought but we know how tight-knit the football family can be, when needed.

More kudos to your idea, such a shame to happen to one so young, no matter who or what he was ....
