Lots of pace and power in that team, especially upfront and in midfield.

Neill Yobo Distin Baines
Rodwell Heitinga
Billy Cahill Pienaar
Saha.
Subs: Nash, Hibbert, Gosling, Osman, Fellaini, Jo & Yakubu.
I'd be happy with that. Moyes will probably go with the safer option of Hibbert but Neill impressed me against Hull. Came on, looked fit enough and got up and down the line, some quality crosses. I'd like to see him put in because he gives us something Hibbert doesn't which is an adverterous full back, something I think we could get the beating of Portsmouth with who will be very dull in this game I think. Yakubu is ready to start, but Saha is on great form and he was given a rest at Hull so he'll be racing to go. Yakubu will definitely get involved at some point though. It was a toss up for me between Fellaini and Cahill who both aren't really at their best at the minute but I do believe Cahills threat is much bigger even when he isn't at his best, especially in away games which will be tight such as this so I'd start with him. If we can get Rodwell and Heitinga into the middle then that will give Cahill alot more freedom to support King Louis.
COYB.

Won't argue with that. We seriously need the lads up for this game and hopefully if we win here it can be a turning point in which we start to string a good few wins together are season up and running.

Lord knows that he doesn't deserve it but I might be inclined to pick Babel on Sunday, he had one of his better outings in the same fixture last season.http://www.totalfootballforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif

Johnson - Carragher - Agger - Aurelio
Mascherano - Gerrard
Kuyt - Benayoun - Riera
Torres
Bench: Cavalieri, Insua, Skrtel, Lucas, El Zhar, Babel, N'Gog
Assuming everyone is fit for the game thats the line up i'd like to see. As bad as Carragher has been, Skrtel hasn't been much better and i reckon Carragher will be really fired up for this game because it's the Mancs. Put Aurelio at LB because i think he is a much more solid player than Insua and his set pieces and ball retention as well as his greater defensive skills will be invaluable against United. Gerrard has to be in alongside Mascherano or Lucas because the other two just don't work together, i don't mind which one because they're both as bad as each other at the moment but i'm hoping Masch will finally perform. Benayoun in the middle should mean he sees more of the ball and will stop him cutting in from the left giving us greater width. Obvioulsy if Johnson, Gerrard and Torres aren't fit this all goes to pot.

On the basis of who's fit;
Johnson - Carra - Agger - Insua
Masch - Gerarrd
Kuyt - Benny - Aurelio
Torres
Despite their injury worries, Stevie and Nando have to be risked. Nando more pressingly so. Babel can fuck off starting, impact sub at best. I would have had Skrtel in over Carra, but purely because it's the mancs I've stuck Jamie in.
Come to think of it, mine's just mass debates' team with Riera swapped for Insua. :dam:
