Sneijder ran the show, he was spraying some brilliant through balls and passes through Chelsea's defence which they just couldn't deal with, if it weren't for a mixture of lack of pace, poor positioning and just some bad finishes/good saves the scoreline would have been a lot greater than it was.
Chelsea's manager chop and changing has hit them hard, they seem to have no replacements for Lampard, Drogba, Anelka or Terry, if they don't bring in anyone to replace at least 2 of them in the next window then they could be in trouble.

Snijder showing what a world class player he is, he was running the show and Eto'o finish was world class.

Definitely, although I don't think that underestimation is completely wrongly felt considering their past in Europe. However, I knew they'd be a lot better this season with Eto'o instead of Ibra, Eto'o is a better striker and gives the a world class threat who can score in the knock out stages. Add Sneijder to that with his brilliant play making, Militio as just a reliable goal scorer and then Inter are a real threat. If they keep hold of Mourinho we could see an Inter side that dominates Europe in the coming seasons.

But is that because they over-hype the English clubs...........................?
I pray Inter don't reach the final or win it, as if Josie is bad enough now what would he be like if he lived up to his own billing.................................. ...........?

The players did not win through to the next round for Inter, the Manager did.
Overall there is very little to choose taking all 22 players into consideration as to which is the better team. Unfortunately for Chelsea, only one of the managers knew most of the 22 - and knew how to play to upset them, get them annoyed, which player would crack under the negative approach and then target him - OK so Drogba managed to hang on a bit longer than normal, but it had to come and JT was ready at any time to follow him with his desire to blame the ref rather than his own players. Lampard gave up and the fight dribbled out of the Chelsea side. I am not his greatest fan, but I understand how he is 'The Special One' to many supporters. Last night he proved it - not with football, but with tactics. If you find that hard to accept, look at No 2 in Germany and the crap on the field at times(Asamoah - Sanchez - even Farfan lately)- but somehow Felix is doing a Mourinho on the Bundesliga this season - he did it last year so why not again. Don't waste any money on backing against Inter this year - I know Fergie is still in it, but if he continues with Scholes he will finish with 10 men on the field again - Jose will see to that! and just watch him pressure the brilliant England captain (gawd help us!)

Dirty? Why? Even though I was rooting for Chelsea, I gotta disagree. Inter played the righ way, that´s how you win tough matches. It reminded a Libertadores match, I wonder if it was because Inter have so many south americans on their squad.
And Real must be regretting that they sold Sneidjer, what a great player.
