Bayern are clear favorites, they have all players available and the team is on a good run, while Fiorentina will have to rely on quite a few back up players. Should be a win here for Bayern, unless the Italians will be able to stop their attackers.

1-0 HT for FC Hollywood, Robben converted a penalty. Neither team playing particularly well in the first half, surely second half can only get better?

EDIT: 1-1 in 61' - Kroldrup the scorer, quite a nice move by Fiorentina. Get in! :D

Congratulations to linesman for not seeing the obvious offside, awarding Bayern a goal and ruining it all for Fiorentina. How typical Bayern. Ovrebo was not as terrible today as he was last season in Chelsea vs Barca game, yet I don't understand why this man is allowed to be a ref in any important football match.

The result is still not too bad for Fiorentina (2-1 FT in München), yet Bayern are now in the driving seat.

That was an awful decision, there will not be a clearer offside this gameweek. Deary me.

Yeah, and I'm not talking about the incorrect red card for a unintentional elbow by Gobbi, followed only by a yellow for a terrible studs-up tackle by Klose. This is a joke of a referee.

We Chelsea fans have been saying that since last year.

As well as Italy in 2008 Euro Cup and a couple of other national teams this year during qualifiers. It's just incredible how such an inept referee is on Uefa's elite referee list; after making so many mistakes and being awful in general he's still considered to be a quality ref to referee important matches. Just proves that Uefa is a joke as well, they're clearly protecting this guy.

I know the obvious excuse of 'human error' and I totally understand it but this has to come down as the most awful officiating I've ever seen. Munchen's second goal looked like an off-side even from the Television's angle of view. Yes, at the end of the day the linesman is going to come out and apologize for his 'mistake' but this guy needs to be booted from UEFA. He's clearly as blind as a bat. He's even more blind than the guy who officiated the match between Arsenal and Porto (you know, that idiot who 'didn't see' Thierry Henry's handball incident versus Ireland). At least the first referee might have a better excuse for not seeing everything on the pitch but the linesman's job is only limited to one half of the field. Most of the time, they should be focused. Clearly not in this case, though...

As for Munchen's first 'penalty' goal, again it was a stupid refereeing error. The ref should've waited for an advantage to be played before he IMMEDIATELY decided to appoint the penalty spot. Just wait for a few seconds and then make the decision, how hard is that? He could've awarded Munchen a penalty had they simply missed their goal-scoring opportunity. That 'quick decision' wasn't technically a refereeing error but it was something referees are usually less encouraged to do. Instead, they are more encouraged to wait and give an advantage for the other team.

Anyway, Bayern shouldn't be satisfied with this win. One goal by Fiorentina at Italy could seal the deal for them.
