Another typically high-scoring weekend in Ligue 1 with a couple of surprising results.

Notable results: Saint Etienne turned on the style to beat high-flying Monaco 3-0 at home and Grenoble came out with a surprising blow-out of Auxerre by shutting them out with a 5-0 victory (WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?!?!). Montpellier won 2-0 away at Boulogne in order to keep the pressure on top-of-the-table Bordeaux, who lost 4-2 at Rennes.
