From the BBC

14.11 Inter Milan full-back Amantino Mancini has switched to city rivals AC Milan on a six-month loan deal.

It's a shame Mancini never imposed himself at Inter, due to the system Mourinho uses.
He's one of their best players, one that can change the events of a tight game, and now they have loaned him to AC. http://www.totalfootballforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/tut.gif

What is worst for them is that they haven't brought anyone that can possibly help them to win the CL (Moratti's big goal).

I don't know what formation Milan play under Leonardo but last time I remember Milan don't have a formation which suits wingers. Interesting to see how he fits in.

Suprised they've let him go to their rivals to be honest, good move for both sides though.

Amantino Mancini was origionally a full back when Roma bought him and Milan could use him there however before the injuries thy suffered recently the formation they were utilising was a 4-2-1-3 with Clarence Seedorf playing in the hole behind a Target Man with Ronaldinho and Pato playing quite wide. In recent weeks with Seedorf and Pato injured it's gone back to more of a 4-3-3/4-5-1 with Ronaldinho on the left, Beckham or Mancini on the right and a three man midfield.

In either formation there is space for Mancini on the right of the attack but he is competing with Backham and Pato. It's not the first time Inter have offloaded a player to Milan though, Pirlo and Seedorf being two players who were disappointing in an Inter shirt only to be sold to their city rivals and become star players.
