Was looking through jobs earlier on as a Support Worker and fuck me how bad is it that it seems to be the average wage for this by near enough every company that's hiring is around £11k-£13k. Caring should be a job which pays a good enough wage for anyone to support a family on, not a job that pays a wage for a single person to struggle on. I was reading company reviews on Indeed a while back for one particular company and what they done was sacked all of their Social Care Workers and then re-hired them as a Support Worker, to do essentially the same job for around £3k-£5k less.
On another note I'll be doing a cancer study tomorrow, that should be a barrel of laughs.
