Guardado scored in that game didn't he?
Celta and Villareal tied but Villareal has been a up and down team and Celta dominated the first half and should of won....(sound familiar) :dam:

I expected you to make excuses for Barca as well. Why is it that when Barca loses, the cules always say "Barca played well....who cares about the score". Che Boludos. n.n*
It's nothing to do with excuses, the point was, Sevilla are a good side and if they beat Barça at the Ramon Sanchez or get themselves a well earned draw, it'll probably be earnt. But earnt by a good team, who play football at a high level. Sevilla would destroy any of the smaller teams, when at full throttle, they have beaten Real Madrid this season and would give any big club in Europe, a hard time, on their day. They have the fire-power to smash anyone on the counter, but also have a good defence.
The way you gloat in here, is like Sevilla are a bad team to lose against(like Leeds and Alcoron, as examples of REAL giant killers from this season), when they are far from a bad team.
Barça won the Copa Del Rey last season and La Liga and the Champions league are more important, so it wouldn't be a bad thing if the club is to bow out of the cup competition, a club can't win every trophy and football isn't just about trophys either. Infact, it would be good for Spanish football if someone like Mallorca or Sevilla themselves, won the competition this saeason. I'd like to see Barcelona progress further into the competition, the main reason being that, it's a good competition to give oppurtunitys for the younger players. But if the club goes out, I don't think many would feel too hard done by, as like I said, La Liga and the Champions league are the important ones.

the pitch is so poor. it's literally flooded in many area's. players are slipping and sliding, and the ball movement has been a lot poorer for Barcelona. Sevilla has an advantage i think, as it seems like they're not as hindered, but i'll stop before i'm cited as making excuses so early in the match. http://www.totalfootballforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

Well done to Sevilla, they got the job done.

Seems there won't be a triplete this season. Now, let's hope Stuttgart does a surprise in the CL (very unlikely, but one person can dream) and Real wins the league. http://www.totalfootballforums.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

The news has rocked Sevilla's plans ahead of the crunch clash, with their attacking options now left in tatters.
They are already set to be without the suspended Alvaro Negredo and must now cope without the services of both of their first-choice strikers.
Fabiano picked up the knock during the warm-up for Saturday's Primera Liga date with Almeria.
The 29-year-old is Sevilla's top scorer this season and is devastated to have been ruled out of the meeting with Atletico Madrid.
He has now flown back to his native Brazil where he will join up with the national side ahead of this summer's World Cup.
Fabiano is set to be a key player for Dunga's team in South Africa as they attempt to land global glory for the sixth time.
"I'm relaxed, and Brazilian fans can also stay calm because I'll be 100 per cent at the World Cup," he said in a statement.

Bad news for Sevilla, as Luis Fabiano has been forced to sit on the sidelines after picking up a thigh injury. He has been in form lately, so will be a big loss to Sevilla. But the good news for Fabiano is that he was 100% be ready for the world cup.

Navas has been excellent this season and I fully expect him to be a part of Del Bosques plans during the World Cup.
