as for the first half, all i can say is LOL. you can tell it's a youth club we've fielded towards the end of the partido by the fouls all over the pitch  Palop looked stressed and upset for much of that half, which was good. the club seems to be keen on showing individual talents as well, as it's becoming more and more evident. Ibra is on for Pedro. i expect good things for the club now. should be an entertaining segundo partido.

Yeah, I was goin to mention this. Its a good thing reall as it will give chances for the likes of Busquets(whos looked better for me recently, even if you don't agree, he can be shakey at times and give away cheap possession, though), Thiago, Jonathan, but it could be a gamble as these players haven't really got La Liga experience yet.
Playing with the likes of Xavi and Iniesta can only make these kids better players and help them to grow into better players at a faster rate. Which is one of the plus's.
0-1 to Sevilla, Capel with a scrappy goal.

note to Pep: two rookie defenders are to be paired off with two experienced defenders at all time. Milito, Chygrynski, and Maxwell were all out of match fitness due to them never playing anymore.

Quality stuff. Hopefully, Sevilla will hang on at the Sanchez Pizjuan and kick out Barcelona from the Copa.

our shots (again) failled to convert. it's not because our youths were not able to keep pace with an established top competitive club in La Liga, but rather because of bicuriosity from the ref and a couple bad decisions. this is where i'd input some crack about liking to see other top clubs in La Liga doing better, but Atletico is in a slump, Valencia will probably ease through, and Real have to wait til next season.

Did they really? I was wondering why you only scored one goal... i mean for a second i thought you only took one shot.

Or maybe because of your earlier bright assesment... you failed to convert.
