Think this is the first review of their new stadium...

How Easy Was It To Find?
Got off the tube and its pretty much straight outside

9/10

Car Parking (Was It near? Was It Free?)

No idea because didn't go by car, but I didn't see many car parks nearby and most people go on the tube

N/A

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)

Best seats in the Prem! They are massive and padded too. The leg room is pretty good and it was covered

9/10

Catering (Quality, price, queues)

Didn't eat there, but from what I've heard it was pretty expensive and the queues were long

6/10

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground?

There seemed a couple of pubs nearby, but mostly for home supporters. If you use the tube then theres loads to do nearby, its the captail city!

10/10

Would you go again to this stadium?

Yeah course and 99% sure I will be next season. I very good, modern stadium and so easy to get to with the tube, plus you can have a weekend out in London too

9/10

Overall (Out Of 10 what do you feel the ground deserves?)

9/10 - its pretty much perfect, but the atmosphere wasn't the best and that was the only draw back. Plus it feels like a cup final stadium rather than a club teams stadium!

£4 for a pie in there, quite a few pubs further up the road aswell.

Doubt I'd go next season due to the price of it

Club & Ground Name: Arsenal - The Emirates Stadium

What the match been played: Premierleague Fixture (Arsenal 1 Villa 1)

Date of the Match: Sat 19th August 2006

How Easy Was It To Find? Coach parked right outside. Easier to find than Highbury.

Car Parking. Was It near? Was It Free? Coaches got all cramped into a small coach park, basicially looked like some spare room, i had to wait 2 hours after the game to get out because of how many coaches we had taken.

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)? Pretty impressive, bit like a cup final stadium, however has so much boring concrete on show. As for leg room, i ent sure we didnt sit down.

Catering (Quality, price, queues) Complete rip off, Ques forever - didnt actually get anything due to the ques. And don't help when staff don't speak english.

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground? When we used to go to highbury there was a weatherspoons nearby however, apparently that is now a chelsea pub so we had to walk for miles in the end. Think we ended up in a pub called King Edward or something like that.

Would you go again to this stadium? Yes quite simply as i would go to any away ground again no matter how good or bad my experience was - just to support my beloved Villa. smile.gif

Overall. Out Of 10, What Do You Feel The Ground Deserves? Not bad, like i said pretty decent ground however far to much concrete and the staff, well they didnt understand me and im english?

How Easy Was It To Find?
Quite easy. Right by the train station.

9/10

Car Parking. Was It near? Was It Free?
I didn't go by car so I wouldn't know.

N/A

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)?
I found that they were very satisfactory.

8/10

Catering (Quality, price, queues)
Took my own little packed lunch.

N/A

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground?
Don't know went straight into the ground when I got of the train.

Would you go again to this stadium?
Yes.

Atmosphere is getting better this season, last season was pretty bad too many business people had tickets. Tickets are expensive and the food and Drink in the stadium is expensive also i think its like £11 for a meal deal. Well can't complain too much as its sold out every game.

I don't like the ground, and I thought the atmosphere and the accoustics inside the stadium were very poor. The only thing seperating it from the likes of the Riverside in my books are that it is in a good area with plenty of pubs and it isn't stuck outside of the city next to a retail park.

I was in the Drayton Park like, Kev. Fucking chocker and they weren't happy about the anti-Spurs chants. Only £2 a pint though (if I recall correctly) so you can't complain.

Match: Arsenal vs Everton.
Date: Sunday, 4th May 2008.
Location: We were in a hotel by Finsbury Park so it was a good fifteen minute walk, just followed the crowd though.
Parking: Parked in the hotel, this wasn't an issue.
Comfort: I didn't find it comfy at all. Big fúck off seats which just get in the way, was terrible.
Catering: Didn't get anything.
Pre-Match: Was in a pub called "The Twelve Pins" by Finsbury Park.
Atmosphere: Wasn't the best, had an end of season feel to it. Our chant "there's only five of yous singing" summed it up really.
Re-Visit: I shall be next season most probably.
Rating: 6.5/10. Proper shíte for making an atmosphere and very modern, so put them together and you get your average boring new ground, the Emirates is no different. Give me Villa Park/Goodison Park etc all day over this.

How Easy Was It To Find?
quite easy once you were near enough to it

8/10

Car Parking (Was It near? Was It Free?)

a friend dropped us off near the stadium ages away from kick off so it was pretty easy, but i hear from people we spoke to in cafe theparking is extremely expensive

7/10

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)

very good seats, best i've had, padded and everything, didnt have the luxury of sitting in them during the match however

9/10

Catering (Quality, price, queues)

never bother, queues are always to long

5/10

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground?

all the pubs nearby are swarmed by arsenal fans, but there are a few cafe n that for lunch nearby

8/10

Would you go again to this stadium?

probably. just a shame the football is usually depressing :L

9/10

Overall (Out Of 10 what do you feel the ground deserves?)

8/10 one of the best stadiums in the league, but the fans and atmosphere is crap, we sang the whole match, you hardly heard anything from them until they joined in when we sang stand up if you hate tottenham :S and they threw stuff at us from above which stewards couldnt care less about

How Easy Was It To Find?
Couldn't be any easier, off the tube and it's round the corner

9/10

Car Parking (Was It near? Was It Free?)

Travelled via tube, left the car at the hotel over next to Wembley

N/A

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)

Brilliant seating, loads of leg room and padded so very comfortable

9/10

Catering (Quality, price, queues)

I'd give them a cracking review here too, sold us Scottish mugs beer inside a Stadium, don't get that north of the border

8/10

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground?

Loads of pubs near the stadium, many not even taking the home fans in only us away buggers! :D

10/10

Would you go again to this stadium?

Next time the Rangers are there, you can bet I'll be there, great trip for the Emirates Tourney

10/10

Overall (Out Of 10 what do you feel the ground deserves?)

9/10 - Cracking stadium, Arsenal fans didn't really make much of a noise until against us when they did the mexican wave, but we made a hell of a noise, both in the concourse and in the stadium. Enjoyed the full experience
