Great to see Juventus at the top and Roma at the bottom.

Genoa are really prooving to be a handful for the elite Italian teams, this could be a really interesting Serie A season....

Bari and Chievo are really doing well, great win for Bari at hoemto Atalanta and they reamin unbeaten this season, likewise Chievo had a great win over Genoa. Looking at the table at the moment Palermo and Napoli won't be particularly pleased with how they've started, especially afte rhte noises Zenga was making about challenging for the title.

I saw no improvement from AC Milan, though Rona was out of the match. Pato proved that he still needs more playing time and that he still has a lot to learn. Juventus and Inter are doing what people expected out of them. Proud of Juventus because they are winning games even with all the key injuries.

Sampdoria are the surprise package of the season, so far. I always expected that they would be in and around the top six, but having a 100% record after four games is very impressive. Giampaolo Pazzini and Antonio Cassano, as expected, have been excellent, while the new arrivals such as Daniele Mannini, Fernando Tissone and Marco Rossi have caught the eye. Luigi Del Neri did an excellent job at Atalanta and he has carried that over to Sampdoria.

Juventus have been the outstanding performers. The victory away at A.S. Roma was the highlight, thus far, and demonstrated that Juventus will most definitely be Internazionale's nearest competitors. Next week, they travel to Genoa and that will test the strength in depth of Ciro Ferrara's squad, especially given that their will be a European tie on Wednesday, away to Bayern Munich.

Samp really are flying and are playing some of the best football out of all the teams in the league. Cassano is exceptional at the moment whilst Pazzini just keeps scoring and Mannini is on fire. Inter got a nice lead over Juve though and don't really look like slipping up anytime soon. Got a nice chasing pack starting to develop now as well with the emmergence of Palermo, resurgence of Milan as well as Fiorentina. Napoli have also started to pick up whilst Genoa should turn their form around soon and Roma and Udinese should be there or there abouts come the end of the season. Going to be a very exciting season.

If Palermo can get a result against Internazionale tomorrow the league will be wide open. It definitely seems that it will be Internazionale and Juventus who finish in the top two positions, but after that any number of teams could finish in the final two UEFA Champions League berths. Whether Parma can sustain a fight is, perhaps, debatable, but in Alberto Paloschi and Valeri Bojinov they have a very exciting and fruitful strike force.

Inter still leading the way but Juve and Milan are chasing hard. Sampdoria are still hanging on as well and Parma aren't too far behind either. At the bottom Siena and Catania are really struggling, this was always going to happen to Siena eventualy as they are such a small club and it'll be a shame to see them relegated.

Inter have a huge 7 point lead and the title really is theres to lose already. Parma catch up with Samp in 4th place but it really is tight behind Juve and Milan - 4 points seperates 4th to 11th. Nothing changed at the bottom with neither of the bottom 4 picking up a point.

It's been nice watching Milan climb back up the standings this season, but its a bit sad to see Roma stuck at mid-table. On an unrelated note, I'm in love with Parma's shirt.

Roma are only three points off a Champions League spot though and you have to expect that the likes of Bari, Parma and Cagliari aren't going to stick it out up there.

Parma's shirt is nice, it's their old home shirt style that they reverted back to a few seasons back, in their 'Golden era' they used to wear blue and yellow hoops but i prefer this look. Use their old home kit as their away kit now.
