darn, currently watching the Atletico de Madrid second leg in the CL qualifiers and now kicking myself for not taking Kun :roll: but i think i've balanced my team out quite well, based on three main principals. oh well this should be fun...



quick question, will i be able to view the other rosters once i've been added? i'm quite curious to the competition...

Yeah, I've just confirmed you now. So you should be able to view the other teams, etc.

If you can't view the teams right now, it may take up to a few hours.

Kun was one of the first in my team, I've got good feelings about him this season :).

i admit, this is my first participation in any fantasy league. i have no idea where anything is, so i'll just wait until something new shows up :lol:

Come on La Liga fans, get signing up, there is only around 11/12 of us so far with only 3 days to go untill the season starts. We could really do with around 18 to 20 participants, I'd say to offer more competition. Its a shame the fantasy league wasn't open a week before it was, as it would have given us much more time to get all the members signing up.

aside from the sides that participate in the CL (Sevilla, Valencia, Real, Barcelona, Atletico (more recently), and Villarreal), La Liga has always (since i've been here) had a slow turnout. don't feel discouraged. we actually got more than four rosters, i'm impressed. (no offense, but people who do not follow La Liga regularly i didnt count. they just filled names from what i gathered where followers like you or i actually took time in selecting the ones we could).

Yeah, it's always going to be more difficult with the forum being an English speaking one which is more focused on the Premiership. Where is Off-side, Panflute, Sergio Ramos and co at these days? They would offer some good solid competition.

It should be a good laugh, regardless of how many members we have. I've never done a La Liga fantasy before, I've only ever done Premier league ones, so it'll be a good change.

Aswell as our own private league, there will also be a main league, which everyone who has signed up, will be a part of, which should also be interesting. They'll be thousands of people in that one, I'm guessing.

I picked C.Ronaldo, I did have David Silva, but swapped it around a bit. I'm not sure if that'll be a mistake or not, but we'll see.

i signed a bunch of alright players. not too many huge names, but i'm quite satisfied with my 100,000 left over. later, after a few weeks and depending on who is grabbing up points, there maybe swaps done. i picked players based on how much potential i think they have, versus the big names that i know will do well.

lads, my account is fucked. my brother switched two memebers of my club so i only have two transfers left. i don't want to just go back and sign them agian, as i'll have none left. FUCK! i'm so boned.

Only 12 members, but I suppose that will just have to do. Its better than none, after all. John Conner and Mass debates have subs missing though, meaning there team will not be registered due to this and they won't pick up points. So you will have to sort out your subs if you want to compete, lads.

Fiddy Pence is top after week 1. But I'm above erick, so thats all that matters .

Its not a bad fantasy league, but I think it could be alot better. I don't think it gives you points for assists which is a shame. In the Premiership one they do points for clean sheets, assists, goals, and then bonuses if players have been extra special in the specific game they are given points for. It would be better if this one was done in the same way, but its all good fun still.

It would be better if we got points for assist aswell as goals, Xavi would be a beast.

Same with Dani Alves, I can see him having a high assist record this season, the way hes smashing them pin point crosses into the box.
