Can't think of any others i've seen...

Good choice with Shearer and Sutton, I was hoping someone would mention these two. They were a instrumental and a big part in helping Rovers turn from a club who hadn't won the league in over 70 years, to living the Premiership trophy, beating the scum, Man United to the top in the process. if the two players had played their trade at Man United or Liverpool, for example, people would be praising the pairing much more than they do.

Easy one of the top striking partnerships seen in English football, since the name "Premier league" was first installed back in 1992.

Surprised Dalglish and Rush hasn't got more of a mention. They were some partnership for Liverpool, Dalglish's footballing brain and ability on the ball along with Rush's awesome pace and finishing ability frightened the lives out of teams for many years.

Torres and Gerrard...LOL. Great players yes, decent together yes...SOMETIMES.

Yorke and Cole were consistently brilliant next to each other, other notable mentions are Bergkamp and Henry, but overall I pretty much agree with the first post.

They've got a record comparable to Rush-Dalglish.

The best partnership I've ever seen is the Henry-Bergkamp one.

Sherringham and Shearer -England at Euro 96 ( Awesome team)

Ronaldo-Rivaldo-Ronaldinho-Brazil at WC 2002( Was the shape of things to come for plenty of teams)

Solsjkaer and Sherringham -United 1999 (The underrated partnership that contributed to the best season to date as a United supporter since I have been alive )

Ronaldo, Tevez and Rooney-United- United 2008 (Was in dream land)

Henry,Etoo and Messi-Barcelona Last season were phenomenal, I could not hate them even if I tried.

Gerrard- Torres

Torres-Villa

LOL

Torres and Gerrard had one very good season, they aren't in the top 5 strike partnerships of all time, get your head out of your arse

As for Torres and Villa, its quite well known they don't perform great together, while still being World Class players individually.

York And Cole - Don't need to say anything

Shearer and Ferdinand - Great partnership, each got 25 goals.

Theirry and Bergkamp

Rush & Dalgleish

Think more when I cba

DiStefano and Puskas would get in had I been old enough to see them play live
