If Rosicky passes to Atletico, Borussia will have to seek new midfielder.

Will give a lot of cash for new and they will begin winning more games.

The club doesn´t get the cash afaik, Rosicky is owned by a money lender
as a safety. So the club only has lower debts.

BVB Strike Pienaar Deal

Ajax midfielder Steven Pienaar has agreed to join Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund at the end of the current season.

BVB executive chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke confirmed on Monday that the 23-year-old had agreed a three-year deal with the 1997 European champions.

"He will definitely be coming in the summer at the latest," he told Kicker.

Dortmund will now reportedly await the outcome of negotiations with Atletico Madrid over the future of Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky and bring Pienaar to the Westfalenstadion during the winter transfer window, should the Spanish side meet the Schwarz-Gelben's €13 million (£8.8 million) asking price for the playmaker.

Pienaar made it clear that he would not sign a new deal at Ajax and they may well accept an offer from BVB in January if the Germans free up some funds.

A clutch of teams had expressed interest in signing Pienaar, including Manchester City, but the South African's preference was always to head to Dortmund.

Nigel de Jong is in talks with Borussia Dortmund about signing for the club next summer.

The Manchester United target is out of contract in 2006, and is keen to join a club where he will get regular football.

"For me Borussia is certainly a serious option, because it's important for me to get as much playing time as I can," he revealed.

Ajax team-mate Steven Pienaar is also likely to make the move to BVB, although that is unlikely to take place in January as initial reports had suggested.

Damn i hope this deal doesnt go through because Man Utd are also tracking De Jong and i would loe him at Old Trafford because is an excellent player and would be excellent for United in the long term.

Well Pineaar has signed a 3-year deal with us so hopefully de Jong follows him here.

Germans Confirm Jarosik Interest

Borussia Dortmund have confirmed their interest in Birmingham City's on-loan midfielder Jiri Jarosik.

The Germans are keeping tabs on Jarosik's situation with the player seemingly having no long-term future at Chelsea.

Jarosik is well down the pecking order at Chelsea and was sent out on loan to Birmingham at the start of the season.

The player's agent revealed last week a number of clubs had expressed an interest in the Czech Republic international.

Dortmund director of football Michael Zorc watched Jarosik in action in Birmingham's 3-0 defeat at Manchester United and he revealed they are weighing up a move for the midfielder.

"He (Jarosik) is an interesting player, a similar type of player like Tim Borowski," Zorc told Kicker.

"Up until now, we are just watching him (Jarosik).

"We have not opened any negotiations."

Would be a good signing for Dortmund,
especially if Rosicky leaves the club in summer
to Athletico.
