Wish i could have started this thread with a win but instead a disappointing draw at Mainz. Metzelder with our goal and it came at the 90th min.
:head_hurts_kr:
But im confident things will get better as the season goes along. We have some good players still. Rosicky, Smolarek, Koller, Metzelder and a very good GK Roman Weidenfeller.

That is one thing I would absolutley love to do before I die. If i ever can get to Germany the first place I would visit would be Dortmund and the Arena. It looks amazing on TV and in pictures.

Mainz 1-1 Borussia Dortmund
soccernet.com
MAINZ, September 24 (Bundesliga) - A 90th minute goal from Dortmund defender Christoph Metzelder denied Mainz their second win of the season.
After getting their season up and running on Wednesday with a win over Kaiserslautern, Mainz looked destined to continue their resurgence after a 54th minute penalty from Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan put them in front.
But Dortmund's never-say-die attitude meant they kept pressing right until the end, and they were rewarded when Metzelder capitalised on some poor Mainz defending and finished well in the dying minutes to level the score at 1-1.
Both teams looked to play football throughout, and Dortmund had the first chance after just two minutes, but Lars Ricken's shot was well saved by Dimo Wache in the Mainz goal.
Mainz should have gone ahead in the seventh minute when Zidan was put put through on goal by Milorad Pekovic, but he was unable to finish - despite rounding goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller.
The first-half continued to produce chances, but neither side seemed capable of taking the initiative, and the sides went in at half-time looked at 0-0.
Zidan again went close shortly after the break, but Weidenfeller was up to the task, tipping the Egyptian's shot round the post.
Mainz' goal finally came when the referee adjudged Sebastian Kehl had infringed Petr Ruman in the area and pointed to the spot.
Zidan finished with aplomb from the spot, sending Weidenfeller in the opposite direction.
Dortmund showed their resilience and responded by playing some of the best football of the match.
They had several good chances in the final minutes, but just as it looked as if the game was going to end in defeat, Metzelder latched onto a poor clearance from Manuel Friedrich to fire home and salvage a point.
Disappointing that we couldnt beat Mainz.

FRANKFURT, Sept 24 (Reuters) - Czech striker Jan Koller suffered suspected cruciate ligament damage in Borussia Dortmund's 1-1 draw against FSV Mainz on Sunday and could be out for six months.
"If confirmed it's very bitter," said Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc. "We are all very sad."
Koller, a regular international with the Czech Republic, went down clutching his left knee in the 64th minute and immediately signalled for assistance.

The giant striker has opted to leave Westfalen Stadion at the expiration of his current deal in June, and saw his final season at the club tainted by a knee injury picked up against Mainz.
The Czech international is expected to be out for six months, although Dortmund have reiterated their desire to keep hold of the hit-man by keeping their offer open just days after the blow.
"If Jan wants to stay he can," said Dortmund sporting director Hans-Joachim Watzke.
"We will put the contract offer in front of him again."

Its up to him now i think just maybe that this long-term injury might change his mind. We'll have to wait and see i guess it depends on how the team does while he is out.
