Liverpool After Aaron Lennon

Valued in the £10million bracket, Lennon has sparked serious interest from a host of Serie A clubs who are all willing to step-in with a firm offer during the forthcoming summer transfer-period, but Rafa Benitez is said to be ready to tempt the 19-year-old with an impressive wage-packet to make a switch up-North to Merseyside.
A bid of around £6million could be too tempting for Ramos, with a pre-agreed move being arranged before the season end’s a likely solution for Benitez, who is seriously under-powered in the wingers department.

Would be a good signing for liverpool, would be alot better than kewell.

Pace too burn, gained a final product over the last six months really has what it takes to be the complete player. If you put him, Gerrard and Babel behind Torres, you've got an almighty attacking force with pace in abundance.
Would be a steal, for you. Young with plenty of potential.

Reasons why he would be great:
1) Proven
2) Young
3) English (the new Fifa rules)
4) has shown he can score goals and has pace and skill.
Overall though I can't see Spurs being stupid enough to sell and certainly not for 6 mill.

Agreed. I just can't see Spurs getting rid of him. Ramos knows he doesn't have many options in midfield, and as I said in the other thread, Dimitar Berbatov literally plays off Aaron Lennon. They've developed a sort of understanding that's become deadly. If Ramos gets rid iof Lennon, he knows he'll be killing off Dimitar's presence which will only be shooting themselves in the foot. It was quite clear last night, when he took off Lennon, Berbatov's playing style went slack. He hardly saw the ball and was quite frustrated in the end.

With the formation we are currently playing, we don't need another world class striker. We need someone who is better than Crouch, Kuyt and Voronin though.

Yeah we prob couldn't afford Villa anyway. But what striker should we go for??. Crouch is hardly seen anymore, and Voronin ain't good enough for liverpool. Kuyt is a good team player, works hard, sets up goals.

Imagine if you had Crouch's touch, Kuyt's work rate and Voronin's .... erm hair. You still wouldn't have a player worth a shite and people talk to me about how underrated they are.
