Good drivers win Grand Prix's, bad cars don't.

His car is awful, and he is a decent driver. Wouldn't put him in the top eight drivers though, I think; Hamilton, Raikkonen, Massa, Alonso, Kubica, Heidfeld, Kovalainen, Rosberg and Fisichella are all more talented.

Its really unfair to say that, as they all drive far superior cars. Stick Hamilton, for instance, in Buttons crappy Honda, and he'd struggle to get anywhere. Button has never really had a decent enough car to show off his abilities - he won the Hungarian Grand Prix last year in a distinctly average car, and this years Honda is even worse.

If he was so good he would be able to excel in his Honda Car, but he doesn't, if you are a good driver you should be able to win in whatever you drive

Bollocks.

Even Fernando Alonso wouldn't get anywhere in a Spyker.

David Coulthard, Jensen Button, Ralf Schumacher, Jacques Villenueve, Damon Hill - just a list of that top of my head of world class drivers who got nowhere when they moved to a shitty car.

Its the car that wins you races.

David Coulthard isn't and wasn't world class. He was always number two at McLaren to Mika Hakkinen and was always used to do his dirty work to enable he became world champion. I'd be very surprised if he's won anything over 10 races, in McLaren. Hardly world class...

Coulthard won 13 Grand Prix' - 12 whilst at McClaren. Which ultimately proves my point entirely.

I'll put it into a context even you might understand.

Imagine you are Andy Johnson (who is a fairly decent striker).

To help you score goals, you have Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill putting balls through to you.

You scored 11 goals last season.

Imagine this season, you no longer have Cahill and Arteta to help you, they have moved to a better club, and Moyes has replaced them with Tony Dinning and Adam Griffin (Stockport County midfielders). You are always going to struggle getting the same amount of goals obviously, as your goal scoring 'equipment' isnt up to the job.
