Id like to visit this stadium, my mates went last season and said it was one of the better stadiums they'd been to.

Keep away colours well hidden if you are in the town centre before the game or in around the area of the home pubs.

I can only remember one name of one which was the Golden Cup at about 4pm, then went on in from there :thumb:

And I did go with a 'dingle' shirt on, Blackburn fans are mostly pussy's who couldn't put up a good fight.

How Easy Was It To Find?
yes, very. We went straight up the M6 for about 20 minutes, on to the 56 i think for another 15 minutes and we were in Blackburn. There was a car park on a school so we parked there, and then there was another 10 minutes walk and the ground is unmissable. 10/10

View. Pillar In The Way?
No, a great view, covered and everything. 9/10

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc) -
we were on the sides, of the stands so we just stood.

Catering (Quality, price, queues)
Very good actually, decent pie aswell 8/10

We were vocal, but didnt sing we spent half the time abusing the referee instead. The home fans were ok, but the drum has to go. 7/10

Stewards, Policing -
same as usual for any lancashire fixture, they were overboard. The stewards were very friendly though. 6/10

It is a good ground, 3 stands are new but the CIS stand is looking tired. The atmosphere was also ok and it is located in a brilliant area. 9/10

How Easy Was It To Find? Came from the train station. The police instantly put us in an escort so we were guided the whole way. Must say that if it were not for the escort, the ground would be extremely hard to get to. I would advise getting a taxi or catching a bus (don't know anything about any bus routes/times/stops etc.), the ground is one of those that is just positioned in the middle of a housing estate but it was fairly well signposted.

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)? The away stand is brilliant, from what i could see there were no restricted viewing seats at all (Thats only the away end). The leg room is as good as it gets for cheap flimsy seats on huge concrete blocks. Average seats, they all seem the same to me. Roof is pretty big, we were perhaps 15 rows from the front and although it didnt rain, it looked as though we would stay dry.

Catering (Quality, price, queues) There was a fair few kiosks. Only down side was the pointless queue thigs that you see at theme parks, no good really. Only had to queue for a few minutes. Food was average priced and was fairly good quality.

Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground? Went to one pub before the game (Only to have a nosy) and it was rammed. It was a summer day so there were fans packing the outside too. We arrived pretty early, nothing to do though, after a while you get slightly pissed of with being constantly bombarded program sellers so we decided to just go up to our seats and watch the players warm up (How great?).

Although i don't agree with slating other teams fans (On the Internet anyway), i have to say that Blackburn fans couldnt make noise in a library for mice. They cheered when they scored (Well duh!) but that was it, it really was. On the odd occasion there was a mutter of Blackburn...Blackburn...Blackburn... but nothing to blow your top off. Sorry Rovers fans but thats what it was like when i was there. Derby took a huge following (It was the last away game of the worst season in history), and made more noise than ive ever heard any set away fans that have visited Pride Park for ou home games. The stand is quite deep and is set back so the noise can really get a boost when theres a fair few fans singing.

Would you go again to this stadium? Yes but im not too sure if Derby will ever get there again!

Was on the coach but the journey didn't take long, and we parked right next to the stadium

Didn't sit down, so don't know about legroom or seat comfort. The seats are quite squashed together though, i'm skinny and I was still right up between the people standing next to me. All the stands have rooves, yes

Didn't get anything inside the stadium. There was one burger van to accomodate our entire away support. Not too bad though considering there's plenty of other places to eat nearby

Plenty. There's a good pub just over the road (I forget it's name), that was absolutely heaving with Sunderland supporters. Then there's a McDonalds nearby and an Aldi, fish and chip shops, all sorts. There's a big screen in the stadium as well that was showing the latter stages of the Liverpool game when we got in

The ground itself is pretty average, but I liked the big screen and there's plenty of other things to do around & about. Home support was poor, but i'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say it's not that quiet every game. But I really enjoyed my day out in all honestly. I'll deffo be going again and i'm chuffed to bits because I nearly missed this game 4/10 for Ewood itself but a 7/10 overall because there's plenty of other things to do before kickoff

There's a pub called the Fernhurst. Everyone seems to go loopy in there throwing glasses and bottles at the Police horses.

Thought I may as well review it seeing as its practically an annual away day (and victory) nowadays...
Decent enough ground, fairly modern but at the same time easy to create a good atmosphere, never heard fuck all from the home fans. Stewards didn't care about fans standing in front of seats and stairway, a few announcements were made to no avail.

Pubs before hand everyone just piles in the Fernhurst, always a few little horsies and OB that are easy targets for abuse

I'll always look forward to facing Blackburn away... 8/10.
