No games are easy at this stage, but I was hoping for PSV before the draw as they're probably the weakest left in the competition. 2nd leg is at home which is good.

I think Manchester United have a path to the final, AS Roma are dangerous as they proved against Lyon but they are beatable, Milan or Bayern Munchen will be tough but both arent on brilliant form at the moment.

Liverpool got the best draw, we took 4 points of them comfortably in the group stages and should knock them out, they were poor against Arsenal as well and bad finishing from Arsenal got them through, they do have threats though and shouldnt be taken lightly.

Chelsea have the toughest draw for me but should come through against Valencia CF, i can see another Chelsea vs Liverpool semi final and an all English final.

Liverpool vs Manchester United final for me, that would be incredible.

That'd be a nightmare for UEFA and the policing and stuff out there, there's guarenteed to be loads of trouble if that happened, especially with fans going out a few days before and drinking nearly all day!

I'd rather us not play Utd at all (if we got to the final). Although it could be the greatest night if we beat them, it could also be the worst night EVER!

I'm happy that we avoided the other English teams, Valencia will be a hard game but i think we will still win over two legs. Valencia are sure to have players banned after what happened when they played Inter Milan in mid week.

Hard draw for us, i'd prefer we go to away first..

but Stamford will be vital once again..

hope Valencia get ditched out of CL because of their fighting and we get a bye :p

anyway, i hope their attention were divided to the La Liga also..

Milan v Bayern Munich
PSV Eindhoven v Liverpool
Roma v Manchester United
Chelsea v Valencia

Valencia v Liverpool
Roma v Milan

Milan v Valencia

The best possible outcome. smile.gif

Can't see the luck of ManU and Chelsea hold out against Roma and Valencia. Liverpool can sneak a win against PSV, but doubt they'll progress against Valencia.

Milan will show Bayern better footballing magic, and be able to stop Roma as well on the road to the Final. Milan will win against the team that knocked out Inter.

laugh.gif everyone was beatable, united also.. AS Roma can repeat what they do vs Lyon, be an underdog and won, afterall they are now more concentrate on CL than the league because they're too far to reach the scudetto.. for Milan and Bayern they're now on-fire form tbh, Milan in 2007 was different than 2006, especially if Ronaldo was back to his oldform.. and then Bayern, they had Hargreaves back for control the midfield, and yet Makaay start to score, he's gonna be mentally back because he gets some record and that should boost him mentally.

again you're underestimating other teams, PSV have been labelled 'under-dog' all the way to the quarter, but yet they got through, even for the Gunners, they are tactically strong and also they've gap in the league so they wouldnt be dizzy thinking of the league. Finishing, that's something liverpool lack also, that's why they bought strikers but yet they couldnt find someone who can score 20s regularly..

all have fair and square draw, all teams all even here, everything could happen, everyone beats decent teams, so you cant say this team get easy and that team get hard.. and probably yes Chelsea vs Liverpool semis, and i hope i don't see another Garcia's goal allowed..

We need to take a good lead to Valencia for 2nd leg, can't afford to give any sloppy goals away at the Bridge. Will be interesting who other than Navarro may not be available because of suspension. Possible Liverpool semi-final again but let's get there first. Good draw for all 3 English clubs, PSV will be difficult, while Roma will be a tough test for Man Utd. AC Vs Bayern should be a decent 2 legged affair as well.

Ok, without bias then, but more general. No English club will play in Athens.

Valencia, MUFC, PSV and Milan to go through.

You really seem to have a chip on your shoulder about Liverpool, every round you tip them to go out, you've said before we play boring football etc, Ronald Koeman is a good manager but if Liverpool are to lose this tie it will be the same way Arsenal lost, not taking chances.

Also i still cant believe that Chelsea fans bring up the Luis Garcia goal, people forget that if it hadnt been allowed Petr Cech would have been sent off and we would have had a penalty, in some ways Chelsea got of lightly by just conceding the goal, anyways that the past and there is no point starting a new arguement on it.

Bayern Munich's form in the league is still poor, i think they have a chance against Milan because they are also playing averagely, without Ronaldo they don't pose a real threat up front as Carlo Ancelotti is reluctant to start Ricardo Oliviera in the UEFA Champions League.

referring to my post then? why don't you just quote me? :p

im just add the spice for the future battle, and it's surely wasnt a goal if you want to debate it again i'll be there..

they start to win, game per game anyway, last game they won 3-4 away, and they still had a chance to won the title, so they will try to bring their upbeat form to the league and the champions league. Gilardino and Inzaghi was always a threat when they're good :p especially Inzaghi, don't touch him on the penalty box :p

I watch Milan play ever week and they have two threats, thats Kaka and Ronaldo. Bayern Munich have also been playing poorly and inconsistantly, a team that can defend will turn them over, im not sure that team is Milan though.

Also i didnt quote you because your post was massive.

CL-wise, Milan wins when they score. And so far, Bayern concedes too many. That will be a plus for Milan.

Milan can't defend? question.gif
