Arsenal Highbury

CLUB: ARSENAL
GROUND NAME: HIGHBURY
WHAT MATCH HAD BEEN PLAYED: ARSENAL V BLACKBURN ROVERS
SCORE: 1-0
TIMES VISITED: 1
WHATS THE GROUND LIKE?
The ground is extremely old, and you see this as you walk to your turnstiles in the clock end, as you have to walk between a walkway between two Victorian houses in a terrace. Three sides of the ground are very old, and look Victorian, it's a very traditional ground, however the North stand is quite new and is modern. All stands are roofed.
IS IT A MODERN GROUND, NEW, OLD?
Does it look aged ? The ground is very aged all bar the north stand.
COMFORT
The view is quite poor as the stand is very low down, there isn't much leg room either.
STEWARDING/POLICING?
The stewarding must have been good, because I cant remember them, although I was hardly going to stand all game on row 6
CATERING
I didn't try anything
PUBS
Didn't visit a pub
DIRECTIONS
We went by coach, the coaches parked about a 5 minute walk away
WAS IT AN HOSTILE PLACE TO VISIT?
Not for us Blackburn fans it wasnt
TICKET PRICES
£31 , three years ago, it is now £35 for adults and £17.50 for juniors.
WOULD YOU LIKE THE REVIST THE GROUND?
Yes, it's a shame it is to be converted to apartments when Arsenal move
OVERALL WHAT DO YOU RATE THE GROUND
7/10

How Easy Was It To Find?
Got of at Arsenal Station then its basicly right infront of you.
9/10
Car Parking. Was It near? Was It Free?
don't know didnt go by car but doubt you would get a car down there its packed.
/10
Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)?
Seats where ok, view wasnt the best as we right in the corner.
3/10
Catering (Quality, price, queues)
Didnt buy food there but the queues looked massive as it was such a small area.
2/10
Pubs, Things To Do Nearby. Is There Much To Do For The Early Arriver At The Site Of The Ground? The pubs are all packed with gooners so we just went straight into the stadium.
6/10
Would you go again to this stadium? No its crap to be honest, it was like bein at a match in the 1960's the stadium is so out of date.
2/10
Overall. Out Of 10, What Do You Feel The Ground Deserves?

Comfort (seating, leg room, does it have a roof etc)?
$hit. Had some moaning twats behind us telling us to sit down every two minutes, which I did, and could hardly see what was going on at the other end since I was about 10 rows back.
4/10
Catering (Quality, price, queues)
Got a hot dog in there, was fookin' lovely. If a bit expensive.
