Paok FC has signed a new coach, after I. Dumitescu resigned 10 days ago. The new coach is 56 year old M. Vucotic. Vucotic has played football for Partizan for 15 years scoring 306 in 752 games and also played for Bordeaux (France) from 1979-84

I certainly want to see ARIS in Europe too!!!
As you can see, ARIS is not far way from the UEFA spot,
but is also not far away from the teams below.
ARIS has made a new team (with 14 new players!),
so it is hard to predict much about the team yet...
Although it must be noticed that all the Greek media,
are talking/writting about ARIS and the talented players
the team ownes. So let's keep our fingers crossed
and see how the rest of the year will go for us... ;)

Brewster turns down job in Greece

Former Dundee United boss Craig Brewster has rejected the chance to manage his former club Ionikos.
Brewster, 39, was offered the job last week after leaving his post as player-manager of Dundee United.



The former Inverness boss was due to travel to Greece on Saturday but he has now decided not to take the role.

"I agreed terms with Ionikos and was due to go out with my dad on Saturday morning but the deal is now off," Brewster told the Sunday Express.

"I said I wanted to go out and have a look at things myself but the president wanted things finalised so he could announce it to the press.

"He said he couldn't give me any more time because he had spent the last few days putting other interested managers and agents off.

"So I said fine, I can't give you a decision now."

Brewster was replaced by Craig Levein at Tannadice after winning only two out of 28 Scottish Premier League games since taking over in January.

Coach Inacio switches from Beira Mar to Ionikos
- Augusto Inacio is leaving struggling Beira Mar to coach Greek first division team Ionikos after the clubs reached a compensation agreement, the Portuguese Premier League side said on its Web site on Tuesday.
Portuguese Inacio, who steered Sporting to their first title in 18 years in [2000, has travelled to Greece to discuss the final details of his contract, Beira Mar said.
The Portuguese club are in the relegation zone in the 16-team standings with just six points from nine matches.
